To create your t-shirt yarn turkey, you will need some simple to gather materials: a cardboard piece, t-shirt yarn in several colors, googly eyes, and a hot glue gun. Begin by cutting the cardboard into a turkey shape, a round head on top of a bigger oval body. Then, slice the t-shirt yarn into segments that are approximately 4” long.
When everything is in order, you can begin assembling your turkey! Adhere your t-shirt yarn chunks to the cardboard turkey body, beginning at the tail and working your way up. Use different colors of yarn to make it colorful and fun. Once the body is all covered in yarn, glue on the googly eyes to add character to your turkey.
