When you finish wrapping the yarn around the entire cardboard turkey, tie a knot so that the end of the yarn stays in place and doesn’t come undone.
Again cut some more t-shirt yarn into long, thin strips for the turkey's feathers. Once the strips are cut, tie them onto the turkey body. You can use colors or patterns to cover the feathers, it makes the turkey fun and colorful. Just keep tying on pieces of yarn until you completely fill in the body shape of the turkey. The more colors you add, the lovelier your turkey will be!
